# Results and evidence

> Inspect asynchronous status, transcript, findings and source audio.

`POST /v1/ingest/audio`, `/audio-url` and `/transcripts` return an admitted interaction ID after acceptance. Processing continues asynchronously. Poll `GET /api/ingest/interactions/{interactionId}/status`, then read `/transcript`, `/results` and `/recording` with a scoped key. [Build Requests](https://build.aioncx.com/build/requests) uses the corresponding human session routes.

The interaction ID identifies the conversation. An external conversation ID is source supplied and may recur across actors or connections. Exact identifier search returns every authorized match with its source; it cannot prove whether a particular timed-out delivery was admitted. Use a stable `Idempotency-Key` for uncertain retries, and inspect the returned interaction and input revision. A changed input under the same external ID adds an input revision. The same idempotency key must be reused only with the original request.

Results are tied to a concrete input revision and transcript producer/revision. Cursor pages pin these choices. Follow `next_cursor` and retain the requested revision when navigating evidence. A changed revision starts fresh pagination. Large responses expose lossless `parts` with JSON paths; string parts include original character offsets and turn indices. Do not infer timestamps from character positions or speaker labels from plain text.

MCP result reads include findings, evidence and Definition version metadata. They omit the repeated Definition specification and compiled schema. For that full snapshot, use the authenticated REST `/api/ingest/interactions/{interactionId}/results` read with the same revision and scoped key.

The result state distinguishes waiting, failed, partial, quarantined and completed. Completed can contain zero findings. Finding evidence references transcript passages. Timed passages can seek available original audio; untimed passages point to text ranges. A recording may be absent. Read permission does not imply billing-ledger permission: billing details appear only in the organization's authorized Usage view.

The API returns `next_actions` when a poll or next page is useful. These are guidance only; reading a suggestion never starts paid work.
