# AionCX documentation

> Use Atlas to run customer operations and Mach-1 to transcribe, analyze, and forecast through Build, REST, and MCP.

AionCX connects the intelligence and daily work of your contact center. Use **Atlas** to plan staffing, review quality, understand customer needs, and maintain knowledge. Use **Mach-1** to turn recordings into usable results and forecast from numerical history.

## What you need

Atlas tasks require access to the selected workspace and the permissions for that work. Your navigation shows the pages available to your role.

Mach-1 starts in [AionCX Build](https://build.aioncx.com). Build provides workspace setup, conversation submission, source connections, credentials, results, and usage. Applications and agents use the corresponding REST or MCP interfaces.

Use the [glossary](https://docs.aioncx.com/reference/metrics-and-terms.md) when you need a definition. The [Atlas concepts](https://docs.aioncx.com/concepts/overview.md) explain the underlying model for developers extending the platform.
