# Start using Atlas

> Choose your workspace, find the tools available to your role, and complete your first Atlas task.

Start Atlas by confirming your workspace and choosing the operational result you need. You can begin with one Agency and expand as your work requires.

## 1. Confirm your access

Sign in through your organization's Atlas link. Complete any account verification or invitation steps, then check the workspace switcher in the top bar.

Your organization membership, workspace access, and task permissions determine what you can read or change. A connected agent record and a person's login access are separate. Ask your administrator to check both when someone is missing from a roster or cannot sign in.

## 2. Find your work

| You want to | Open |
| - | - |
| Review a call or transcript | Conversations |
| Review assigned quality work | Quality → My reviews |
| Plan staffing or schedules | Workforce → Planning |
| See your schedule or request leave | Workforce → My schedule or Time off |
| Edit knowledge | Knowledge → Knowledge workspace |
| Find assigned follow-up | Work → My work |
| Configure a source, calendar, or role | Admin Center |

Use **Search Atlas** with Command K or Control K to find a page. Open the Atlas agent from the top bar when it is enabled for your workspace. Describe the result you need and the scope, such as the team and dates.

## 3. Check the data behind the task

Before acting, confirm the workspace, time period, and source. A saved connection or an entry in an inventory establishes configuration; current sync evidence and actual observations establish what data is available.

For workforce planning, check the roster, operating calendar, and demand history. For quality work, check the interaction, transcript, evaluation version, and evidence. For knowledge, check the article version and publication state.

## 4. Complete a task

>
> Review demand, roster, requirements, and a draft schedule.

> **[Review an interaction](https://docs.aioncx.com/atlas/review-interactions.md)**
>
> Follow a finding or evaluation back to its source.

> **[Publish knowledge](https://docs.aioncx.com/atlas/knowledge-operations.md)**
>
> Save, review, approve, and publish an article.

> **[Connect an external agent](https://docs.aioncx.com/agents/quickstart.md)**
>
> Use the existing external connection and its granted operations.

## If something is unavailable

Check the selected workspace first. Ask an administrator to verify the relevant permission or enabled feature. For a missing source or result, retain the record or request ID, the time window, and the displayed status when asking for help.

An empty result, an unavailable read, and work still in progress have different meanings. Follow the displayed recovery action before submitting the same work again.
